Machu Picchu, Peru
There really isn’t anything like nature to bring you back to your true self and connect to your senses.
This trip was all about trekking between valleys and deserts.
As we travelled from one landscape to another, we gave ourselves the opportunity to open our hearts to true nature.
Through daily Yoga and Meditation we become more sensitive to our internal and external senses by focusing our practices on the elements of Water, Fire, Air and Earth. Our practices were all outdoors helping us to connect with nature in a profound way unlike any classroom experience.
The energy of Peru was magical and mysterious! It took our breath away in altitude and left us speechless after every newly explored region.
This trip was an incredible adventure!
Eco Luxury on Coastline of untouched beach is where we stayed at the gorgeous Playa Viva Regenerative Resort.
Slow down & Unwind was the theme here!
This retreat was all about relaxation and reconnecting.
Kicking off our shoes and staying in the sand.
We spent a week poolside and ocean side.
Work was left behind as we enjoyed enjoy daily yoga classes during sunrise and sunsets overlooking the ocean in a stunning yoga shala & sleeping amidst the sound of natures crashing waves.
Thai massage workshops, Yin practices and Attending a traditional Temezcal Sweat Lodge Ceremony with a female shaman rooted everyone back to Patcha Mamma (our mother earth)
We hydrated on farm fresh coconut water, ate our fair share of guacamole by the pool, sat fire side at night and created amazing friendships.
Imagine sleeping in natural wood cabins with luscious duvet sheets and real wood fire places.
Woodfield is situated in a green valley in central Muskoka surrounded by forests, pastures, water, and wildlife.
You could feel the magic of Woodfield the moment you turn onto the winding road that brings you to a vast space of greenery, complete with yurts to practice yoga, beautiful lodges, fire pits, Muskoka chairs and breathtaking views.
This excursion had us sharing farm to table food with
incredible new friends.
We had a daily yoga and meditation practice in gorgeous yurts, walked barefoot through the forest, as well as had a special visit to the local baby goat farm and learned about sustainable farming.
The goats warmed our hearts! and do did smores by the fire at night!
